OUR BOOKS
Bright, engaging and captivating, our range of books tell original stories with a strong multi-cultural focus. Available in bilingual versions, they include educational games and activities to entertain, inspire and inform readers.
Our publications aim to create a bridge between different cultures by promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding, respect and integration. Our projects are the result of a team of experts and professionals coming together to create the best books we can. The team is diverse comprised of cultural mediators, teachers, parents, psychologists, educationalists, writers, illustrators, graphic artists and anthropologists.
All proceeds from the book sales will contribute towards Plain Ink’s work.
Please note: our books are currently available in Italian plus a second language, which is based on the country featured in the book (Arabic, Chinese, Hindi etc.). Books in English, French and other languages will soon follow. Our books can be easily adapted and translated into other languages. If you are interested in supporting our translation project, please drop us a line.
The story
Looking for a better life, Ahmed and his family leave Morocco for Italy. It will not be easy for any of them, but Ahmed is lucky enough to have Luna with him, the most beautiful marble ever. And thanks to the game of marbles, a game he used to play each day in Casablanca, Ahmed is able to make new friends and enjoy a new beginning.
